ServerMatrix Support Grows

www.ServerMatrix.com a division of The Planet has recently proven to me that they value their customers business and wish to keep them around as long as possible.
Two days ago I was away from a computer and my phone received a text message. The message was from my monitoring service alerting me that my server had failed 1 or more tests and that a restart would be attempted automatically. I am used to this as it happens every once in a while, so I thought nothing of it. However I started recieving more messages alerting me of more failed services. 10 Minutes later I received a call from a tech in the ServerMatrix Data Center. They alerted me that my server was not responding and asked for my approval for a reboot, I of course said "yes!". Within 5 minutes my server was back online and running great.
Now some of you may be thinking 10 minutes, WOW!, that's a long time for them to take to notice it's down and call you... Well I was thinking this at first too, until I realized I am not paying them for any monitoring. This came standard with my server, and a 10 minute response and a 5 minute reboot time is exceelant. I am not spending thousands a month for a managed dedicated server yet ServerMatrix still treated me as if I was.
