Alertra Server Monitor

What is Alertra?
HOW IT WORKS:
Multiple monitoring stations around the world take turns conducting
rigorous protocol-based tests on your web server or other network
service. If a station reports a failure, another station checks
your server again in a few seconds.
Following failure detection,
your Phone, SMS, AIM, Yahoo!, MSN, ICQ, Numeric Pager, Alpha Pager,
and E-mail contacts will be notified according to your escalation
schedule.
Monitor page changes. Specify
maintenance schedules. Access availability and performance data.

Provider & Server Owner Review:
I've used the Alertra monitoring service since April, 2003 and
have nothing but good things to say. Every minute of downtime
(although unwanted at times) has been accounted for and reported
without problem to the contacts I've selected. You can setup multiple
contacts, time schedules for each contact, use various methods
of communication (Phone, SMS, Pager, Email, AIM, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ,
etc.) and see live reports of what's going on. Monitoring is done
using global machines in Detroit, Montreal, Los Angeles, Oklahoma
City and London. Downtime is verified by multiple locations within
seconds of each other before an alert is sent to you to eliminate
unnecessary panic. I signed up for the 30 days free and didn't
want to cancel. The money you spend to have your servers monitored
is well worth the peace-of-mind you get knowing your business
is being watched out for.

to help out other server owners and webmasters. |
