Default Index Page

This will show a default index.html page for all new accounts isntead of the directory listing. This is a perfect spot to put a link to your help desk, FAQ Section, support contact information. Or a site builder to help the client get started with their website.

1. Create the index page file.
Create the index.html file that you want viewed for all new accounts.
Save this as index.html

2. Upload the file to the server.
Connect to your server via FTP, and upload the new index.html to
/cpanel3-skel/public_html
You will do this for your own reseller account in /home/reseller-username/

If you have clients that are resellers you may provide this feature as an extra option for them. For instance they can create a index.html like you did and you can put it in place for them.

3. Create a test account under that resellers account, and verify the page works.
